About

Carin Goldstein is a wife, a mother, and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience in helping people to improve the quality of their lives. After a previous career in the entertainment world, Carin received her masters degree in Clinical Psychology and then continued her professional training at the renown Maple Center in Beverly Hills as well as working for various family clinics throughout Los Angeles. Carin has worked with clients struggling with a wide spectrum of issues including depression, anxiety, career problems, life transition, and specifically women and relationship issues. Over the years, Carin has seen many wives become their own obstacle by not seeing how certain reactions toward their husband have a negative impact on the relationship. It has become Carin’s mission to re-educate wives so that ultimately, women are making “smarter” choices which then lead to more satisfying marriages. Carin believes that “there is no such thing as a perfect marriage or a perfect Hollywood romance. What is possible is a healthy marriage, where two adults are willing to accept each other’s differences, while also having realistic expectations of each other.”
Carin is currently in private practice in Los Angeles where she provides therapy for adults and couples and is also a contributing expert for www.parentsask.com. When she’s not in the office, she’s busy running around with her two very busy kids and is always discovering new ways to act “smarter” with her husband of over 10 years.
